Siemens TSP-40-PP — thermal printer paper for the TSP-40 and TSP-40A logging printer, Siemens P/N 500-691888.
The TSP-40A logging printer mounts inside an MXL, MXLV, CAB2 or CAB3 enclosure and prints a permanent, time and date stamped record of system activity: alarms, troubles and operator commands. The strip spools onto a take-up reel, read through the window in the locked door. The printer keeps logging from the standby batteries during an AC loss, so no UPS is needed. When the paper runs out the panel reports a trouble and buffers events until a fresh roll is loaded.
