Siemens MLC — MXL addressable device line card, part number S54431-B4-A1, supplying two intelligent analog circuits to a FireFinder XLS control panel.
The MLC is the loop driver that lets MXL-generation devices run on a Siemens modular panel. Detectors are polled for sensitivity and obscuration, and an on-board processor lets the card run in degrade mode and raise alarms even if the panel CPU fails.
