Siemens HMS-S — addressable single-action manual fire alarm box, part number 500-033200.
A microcomputer chip lets the HMS-S communicate in both directions with the panel, so it reports its own address and status on the addressable loop rather than closing a contact on a conventional zone. The pull-down lever locks down when operated and stays there until the housing is opened with an Allen key and closed; there are no break rods, and the address is set electronically with the Model DPU programmer.
