DLC (Siemens stock no. 500-033090) is the Device Loop Card for Siemens FireFinder XLS, Desigo Fire Safety Modular and Cerberus PRO Modular panels. It connects intelligent smoke detectors, multi-criteria detectors including CO, manual stations, monitor and control devices to the panel, and uses one network address. Its on-board microprocessor keeps the loop able to initiate alarms even if the main CPU fails, and it isolates a shorted zone so the other zone keeps working.

Compatibility and installation notes
- Supports only FireFinder XLS / Desigo Fire Safety Modular / Cerberus PRO Modular intelligent devices; up to 252 devices can be split between the two zones in any proportion.
- Multi-criteria detectors need OI firmware 9.02 or later and DLC firmware 06.xx or later; systems using OI P/N 500-033070 need DLC firmware 05.06 or earlier.
- Field devices are addressed and tested with the Device Programming Unit (DPU). The wiring style is set in the Zeus Programming Tool.
- Field wiring lands on the CC-5 slot terminal blocks; remove battery then AC before installing.
