Siemens DB-11 — low-profile surface-mount detector base, 6" diameter, part number 500-094151.
The DB-11 is the mounting and termination base under a Siemens Fire Safety head: screw-clamp terminals take the field conductors and self-wiping contacts pass the circuit into the detector, so the connection stays sound through repeated head removals for cleaning and sensitivity testing. Integral plugs cover the outer mounting screws.
- Accepts Model "H"-series "11" and Model "121"-series conventional detectors, plus Model "H"-series addressable detectors

The DB-11 carries no relay; if the drawings call for a relay base, order DB2-HR, which needs a 4" square double-gang box. Do not accept DB-11E as a substitute — it is the 4.5" (11.4 cm) version. Canada uses DB-11C, part number 500-095687.
