Siemens CPY-MTS — key-operated maintenance switch for Sinorix engineered fire suppression systems.
Before a technician works in a space protected by a suppression system, the actuation circuits must be taken out of play so a stray signal cannot dump agent on the room. The CPY-MTS does that with a key switch, and two LEDs keep the state honest. The key can only be withdrawn in the Armed position, so the system cannot quietly be left disabled.
- Disconnects Sinorix actuation circuits to prevent accidental discharge during maintenance
- System Armed and System Inactive LEDs, 20 mA per LED; 24 VDC
- Rated 10 A at 250 VAC, 15 A at 125 to 250 VAC, 15 A up to 30 VDC
- Silk-screened two-gang stainless-steel plate; mounts to a two-gang-deep bell or wiremold box
- Siemens part number 500-649851BG
Specify carefully: this is a suppression release disconnect, not a panel initiating-circuit disable switch of the Simplex 2080-9060 type, and it does not present a supervisory resistor to an alarm input.
