Siemens CAB-BATT-R — red standby battery enclosure (P/N 500-634925) for fire alarm batteries too large to fit inside the panel cabinet.
Siemens sizes this box to sit on the floor directly beneath the panel enclosure it backs up, or to bolt flat to the wall. It houses BTX-2 (55 AH) batteries on MXL; BTX-2 (55 AH) or BTX-3 (100 AH) sets on FireFinder-XLS, Desigo Fire Safety Modular and Cerberus PRO Modular; and 100 AH sets on FS-250 and FS-250C. Top knockouts line up with the cabinet above for the battery cable run.

Batteries, battery cable assemblies and the CAB-55-BRKT / CAB-100-BRKT seismic brackets are all ordered separately. Seismic installations must be both floor-set and wall-bolted.
