Siemens ADBH-11 — audible detector base (part 500-033210) with a built-in piezo sounder, for H-Series intelligent detectors.
A standard Series 11 base with an audible device, for sleeping rooms in hotels and dormitories. With listed, compatible Siemens equipment it may be used in lieu of single- or multiple-station smoke alarms. The sounder needs a separate 24 VDC supply or NAC, held at reversed polarity until an alarm; the panel then commands bases to sound singly or in any combination.
- Takes HFP-11, HFPT-11 and HFPO-11 detectors (SFP-11 series in Canada only)
- For FireFinder-XLS; the installation sheet adds FS-250 and FS-250C
- Sounder power 17–31 VDC, 0 A in supervisory, from PAD-3, ZIC-4A or any UL-listed 24 VDC supply or NAC
- Steady tone, or temporal with a jumper across terminals 3 and 4
- 85 dB at 10 ft. per data sheet 6305; the installation sheet gives 78 dB minimum sound pressure
- Mounts to a 4 in. square electrical box with extension
Not interchangeable with ADB-11 (conventional Series 11 and 121) or ADBX-11 (FP-11 and FPT-11 on MXL). DB-11 has no sounder. The detector is ordered separately.
