WATERFLOW DETECTOR, SCHEDULE 1040, 6
The Safe Signal WFD60N is a vane-type waterflow detector for 6 in steel sprinkler pipe, schedule 10 through 40. Water flow of 4 to 10 GPM or more deflects the vane and, after a field-adjustable mechanical time delay that filters out pressure surges and trapped air, operates two synchronized SPDT switches. It has a NEMA 4 enclosure for indoor or outdoor use and can be mounted on vertical (upflow) or horizontal pipe runs.
