Potter CR-200-C-W — THERMOFLEX CR Series conventional heat detector, 200°F combination fixed-temperature and rate-of-rise, with normally closed contacts.
The CR Series carries two independent heat elements: the rate-of-rise element trips on a rapid climb whatever the absolute reading, and the fusible fixed element backs it up on a slow-building fire. Dual-action units belong where ceiling temperature does not swing sharply in normal use.
- Rate-of-rise element operates at a rise of 15°F per minute (8.4°C)
- Fixed element operates at 200°F (93°C); maximum installation ambient 160°F
- Listed spacing 70 ft (21 m) on a flat ceiling no higher than 10 ft
- Rate-of-rise portion restorable; the fixed portion is not, so a released link means replacement
- Contacts rated 3 A at 125 VAC, 1 A at 28 VDC, 0.3 A at 125 VDC
- 5.25 × 2 in, mounts to a 4" octagon box with the supplied trim ring
Suffix matters. CR-200W is the same detector with normally open contacts, CF-200CW is fixed-only and CR-135CW the 135°F closed version. Only the 165°F models CR-165C and CF-165C are catalogued with an aluminum finish.
