Notifier SLM-318 — plug-in loop module that adds one addressable Signaling Line Circuit to a NOTIFIER INSPIRE N16 Series panel.
An addressable panel is bounded by how many loops its cabinet holds; this is the card that buys another. It ships programmed in FlashScan with Self-Test support, and CLIP is set per card once the panel holds a CLIP license, so one cabinet runs both protocols.
- One SLC of 159 detector and 159 module addresses, 318 devices per loop
- 24 VDC nominal, 27.6 VDC max; 159 mA standby, 210 mA alarm, 400 mA per loop
- Class A, B and X wiring; 50 Ω per Class B branch or Class A or X loop
- Twisted pair: 12,500 ft. on 12 AWG, 9,500 on 14, 6,000 on 16, 3,700 on 18
- With Self-Test detectors: 11,000, 6,900, 4,350 and 2,700 ft., and 35 Ω
- Degraded mode; UL S635, FM approved, CSFM 7165-0028:0516
An N16e arrives with one loop module and takes two more, for 954 devices on three loops; an N16x takes ten, for 3,180. The binding limit is power, not slots: the PMB supply carries five loop cards at most, so past that a PMB-AUX is needed too. Honeywell sells the same card as HON-62115 for the XLS4000.
