Notifier CHS-M3 — four-position mounting chassis that carries the CPU2-3030 in the top row of an NFS2-3030 fire alarm control panel.
An NFS2-3030 mounts in a CAB-4 series backbox on either a CHS-M3 or a CA-2 audio chassis. On the CHS-M3 the CPU and its optional display take positions 1 and 2, leaving 3 and 4 for option boards and annunciators. One is required per CPU, so it is part of every panel build rather than an upgrade accessory.

It is easily confused with the other chassis in the same cabinet: CHS-4L holds AA-30 amplifiers, CHS-4N up to four APS-6Rs, CHS-6 the XP6 and XP10 multi-modules, and CHS-BH1 is a battery chassis.
