Macurco MRS-485 Modbus RS-485 Adapter for Macurco 6-Series Detectors
The MRS-485 is an accessory that converts the 4-20 mA analog output of a Macurco 6-Series detector into a Modbus RTU signal on an RS-485 serial line for multipoint addressable systems. It plugs into the back of the detector, is held by one screw, and is powered from the same connection as the detector. It lets the detector report sensor type, gas level and trouble status to building automation systems, control panels or other Modbus devices.
