Kidde CS405-8A-T — outdoor-listed 110 cd strobe (strobe only, no horn) with a red steel plate, from the Kidde harsh environment strobe series.
The CS models are the outdoor-rated members of the series. The strobe flashes once per second and meets UL 1971 synchronization only when an external source drives the circuit: EG1M-RM, GSA-CC1S, GSA-MCC1S or a MIRBPS booster. It needs a constant, non-pulsed 16–33 V supply.

Not the CS405-7A-T (15/75 cd outdoor), the indoor 4MS-8AR, or Edwards 405-8A-T, an indoor strobe whose number differs only by the CS prefix. The Kidde sheet does not decode the -T suffix.
