Kidde ANS50XR is a 50 watt audio expander panel in a red cabinet for the Kidde Commercial ANS Series audio notification (voice evacuation) system. Expander panels add amplifier power to an ANS25, ANS50 or ANS100 system and include an audio amplifier, temporal pattern alarm tone, power supply and battery charger. Expanders can be combined to reach up to 2,000 watts of audio power in one system.

Compatibility and installation notes
- Used to increase the output power of ANS25, ANS50 or ANS100 voice evacuation systems.
- Expander units connect to the main ANS panel; the data sheet wiring shows a maximum of 15 cascaded units, mounted in the same cabinet or room with connecting wires in conduit.
- Speaker circuits are field selectable for 25 or 70 Vrms operation.
- The electrical values above are the data sheet values for the 50 W ANS model.
