Kidde 1500-7 (also searched as 1500/7) is a catch plate extension assembly for Kidde electromagnetic door holders, catalogued as 5.25 to 7.5 in.
A Kidde door holder keeps a door open by holding the contact (catch) plate mounted on the door, and releases it when power is removed. The 1500-7 extends that catch plate. Kidde states that only the extension rods are included: the end pieces come with the door holders or can be ordered separately.

Compatibility
The Kidde sheet lists the 1500-7 for the 1501, 1502, 1504, 1505, 1508 and 1509-AQN5 door holders but does not say which models it fits. Check the holder model and the distance between holder and door before ordering.
Choosing a length
Replacement armatures are separate parts: CS2595-5 short, and CS2598-5 long (1504 only).
