Gamewell-FCI 75267 — RS-232 download cable for programming E3 Series and S3 Series fire alarm control panels from a PC.
On both panel families the RS-232 connection is a screw terminal block on the main board, and the same block doubles as a supervised printer port. This cable bridges the two: colour-coded flying leads for the terminal screws, so a configuration built in CAMWorks can be sent down to the panel.
- Red lead to RS-232 GND, black to TxD, green to RxD, identical in both documents
- E3 Series: ILI-MB-E3 main board, terminals TB6-1, TB6-2 and TB6-4
- S3 Series: SLP-E3 main circuit, terminals TB5-1, TB5-2 and TB5-4
- The first-generation ILI-MB-E3 diagram maps those leads to DB-9 pin 5 GND, pin 2 TxD, pin 3 RxD
- Panel port rating: 15 VDC and 0.05 A maximum, up to 115.2 kbaud, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity
Not the same as 75645, the 20 in. local ARCNET cable between ILI-MB-E3 boards, and not a printer cable: a printer lands its own DB-9 on the same block, and TB6-3 or TB5-3 is printer supervision this cable does not use. An S3 configuration can also go down the SLP-E3 J2 Ethernet port.
