A self-contained CO alarm for dwelling units, with an electrochemical sensor and its own piezo horn. It can be tandem interconnected with Gentex smoke, CO and combination alarms on one wire, and sounds a temporal 4 pattern for CO and temporal 3 when an interconnected smoke alarm trips.

Sensor: electrochemical CO; no relay, no heat sensor
Power: 120 VAC, 60 Hz, 0.055 A; Duracell MN1604 9V backup

Ambient: 40 to 100 °F

CR (918-0036-002) is the same alarm with Form A and Form C relay contacts. In its March 2024 letter Gentex states the S/C/SC/H Series replaces the CO1209 Series; it publishes no part-for-part chart. The CO1209 is 6.25 in. across, so check for a gap when retrofitting.
