Gamewell-FCI PM-9 — 120 VAC, 60 Hz switching power supply and battery charger that provides 9 amperes of filtered, regulated 24 VDC (nominal) to E3 Series® system components.
The PM-9 is the main power module for the E3 Series Expandable Emergency Evacuation System, the E3 Series Combined Fire and Mass Notification System, and the E3 Series Broadband Voice Evacuation System. Switching technology keeps the module compact and efficient, and an internal battery charging circuit delivers 1 ampere of charging current and will maintain batteries up to 55 AH (batteries are not furnished). The module typically mounts in E3 Series cabinets — Cabinet B backbox, the INX-E3 or INCC-E3 sub-assembly plate in Cabinet C, the E3-INX-D or E3-ILI-D plate in Cabinet D — or in retrofit kits.

Batteries not included: the integral charger will recharge batteries up to 55 AH, but the batteries themselves are not furnished with the module.

120 VAC only: this is the 120 VAC 60 Hz model; do not apply it to a 220/240 VAC supply.

Cabinet mounting: mounts in Cabinet B backbox, Cabinet C INX-E3 or INCC-E3 sub-assembly plates, Cabinet D E3-INX-D or E3-ILI-D plates, or retrofit kits — confirm the plate for your enclosure before ordering.

Environment: rated 32°F to 120°F, but the manufacturer recommends a normal room temperature of 60–80°F (15–27°C) because extremes shorten standby battery and electronics life.
