GWM34-72 is a Gamewell-FCI local energy trip transmitter for coded fire alarm reporting. The Gamewell-FCI data sheet CS-2261 lists the corresponding M34-72 as a local energy trip transmitter in a sheet metal housing with a plain door, without test block, tap key and bell; the figures below are from that sheet. It uses the Gamewell-FCI three-fold spring-driven movement and transmits its code number over a normally closed series metallic municipal or industrial circuit when tripped electrically by an interior fire alarm system.

Compatibility and installation notes
- A local energy type box needs a local power source for auxiliary operation; interior control panels designed to operate a local energy master box can perform the supervisory function.
- Auxiliary circuit wiring must be in rigid conduit and installed per the National Electrical Code.
- NFPA recommends the master box be placed outside, but convenient to, the protected building. With aerial lead-in wiring, lightning protection is recommended (Gamewell-FCI GW 44551-01 arrester).
- Honeywell lists the GWM34 local energy trip family as discontinued.
