Gamewell-FCI GW72224 — replacement prism reflector for a Gamewell-FCI reflective (single-ended) beam smoke detector.
A single-ended beam detector holds transmitter and receiver in one head and bounces its infrared beam off a prism at the far end of the space. The prism is passive, but it is not a generic mirror: the detector derives its usable range and its obscuration threshold from the size and return signal of the reflector it is aimed at, so a reflector from a different model quietly changes the sensitivity it was commissioned at.
