ES-200XP — intelligent addressable fire alarm control panel with one signaling line circuit, 198-point capacity and an integrated CLSS Pathway Pro dual-SIM 5G LTE-M cellular communicator.
The ES-200X Series is a direct replacement for the MS-9200UDLS and programs just like Fire•Lite’s other addressable products. What sets the ES-200XP apart within the series is its communicator: an integrated CLSS Pathway Pro, a dual-SIM (AT&T/Verizon) 5G LTE-M communicator with optional IP connection. It transmits system status — alarms, troubles, AC loss and so on — to the central station over LTE CAT-M1 networks and serves as a bridge between the fire system and the CLSS Cloud, enabling cloud monitoring through Honeywell’s Connected Life Safety Services. As an integrated communicator it can typically transmit data faster than dial capture methods, and the IP communicator’s Internet monitoring capability meets requirements for backup communication. The single SLC (DCL) loop carries up to 198 addressable devices (99 detectors and 99 modules) and four independently programmable NACs can each be configured Class A or Class B. The ES-200XP ships as the main circuit board with display, pre-installed CLSS Pathway Pro communicator, chassis with transformer, dress panel, backbox with door, and a plastic bag containing screws, cables and key.

Installation notes

No IPOTS-COM on this model: the pre-installed IPOTS-COM and the optional AlarmNet cellular communicators are for the ES-200X and ES-200XC only. On the ES-200XP the communicator is the integrated CLSS Pathway Pro.

Programming path: ethernet upload/download using the IPOTS-COM is an ES-200X / ES-200XC capability. Plan on the panel USB port and USB cable for uploading and downloading programming, history, walk-test data, current status and system voltages on the ES-200XP. Offline programming with FS-Tools requires an ethernet connection.

Power budget: 2.5 A is the per-circuit maximum. Maximum or total 24 VDC system power shared between all NAC circuits and the ANN-BUS is 2.7 A — four circuits do not give you four times 2.5 A. The PWRMOD24 power expander module increases alarm power output to 6 amps.

Batteries: the cabinet holds a maximum of two 18 AH batteries and the onboard charger covers 7–18 AH. Larger batteries require a CHG-75 or CHG-120F and an external BB-26 or BB-55F.

Seismic installations: use SEISKIT-COMMENC, which includes a battery bracket for two 7, 12 or 18 AH batteries.

Legacy devices: 300 Series devices such as CP300/CP350, SD300(T)/SD350(T), M300, M301, M302, C304 and BG-10LX are not compatible with LiteSpeed polling; if any are on the SLC, polling must be set to standard CLIP protocol.
