BG-12 Series stations ship in two lock variants and the choice decides which tool opens them: hex-lock models take this wrench, key-lock models take the 17003 key set. Fire-Lite describes the hex lock as needing only a quarter turn to lock or unlock. To reset an operated station the wrench goes into the lock, the cover is opened and the handle returned.
