Fiplex by Honeywell BDA-DBC-22 — passive dual band combiner joining a 135 to 520 MHz path and a 690 to 2700 MHz path onto one common port.
It lets one antenna feed or coaxial run in a public-safety distributed antenna system carry a low-band radio service and a high-band or cellular service together, with enough isolation that neither path desensitises the other. There is no amplifier and no power connection — it is filtering only. The data sheet is headed DUPLEXER; the DBC part code says combiner.
- Channel 1 135 to 520 MHz, Channel 2 690 to 2700 MHz
- Insertion loss 1.0 dB or less, VSWR 1.40 or less, isolation 35 dB or more
- 50 Ω impedance, 50 W average per port
- N-female connectors
- IP65, indoor or outdoor, -40 to +85 °C, 5 to 95% humidity
- Weight 1.7 kg
BDA-DBC-12 is the near-twin low-band duplexer at 136 to 174 and 380 to 520 MHz, tighter at 0.7 dB loss and 50 dB isolation and far lighter at 0.38 kg — easy to confuse, different services. Alongside it sit the BDA-DC directional couplers, the BDA-HC3-L2 hybrid coupler and the PSx-L2 splitters. The amplifier is a separate HONBDA unit.
