Edwards MN-FVPN — VoIP encoder/decoder that carries supervised mass notification audio over a TCP/IP Ethernet path for EST3 systems.
In encoder mode it takes audio from the Central Control Station and sends it over Ethernet. In decoder mode it takes that digital audio and feeds the local 3-ASU/4, 3-ASU/FT or local audio system. One encoder can feed one or many decoders, with end-to-end supervision of the audio path. It is a hardware unit in an aluminum housing, not a software license.
