DSC LC-100-PI — hardwired passive infrared motion detector using a four element quad sensor and Quad Linear Imaging Technology, with pet immunity up to 55 lb.
This is an intrusion device, not a fire initiating device: it wires into a hardwired zone on a burglary panel and signals through a dry contact, with no smoke, heat or carbon monoxide sensing. The quad sensor and its signal analysis are what let it ignore an animal crossing the pattern while still responding to a person.

Neighbours in the LC-1XX family differ in ways the number hides. LC-120-PI is this detector with a Form C output. LC-103-PIMSK-W adds anti-masking and Doppler microwave, LC-104-PIMW-WNL adds microwave alone, and LC-124-PIMW-WNL is that one in Form C. LC-100-PI-EU is a separate European number with its own EN 50131 certification.
