DITEK DTK-MRJPOEX is an outdoor-rated Power over Ethernet surge protector in a NEMA Type 4X polycarbonate enclosure with shielded RJ45 connections.
It wires in series with the cable feeding an externally mounted PoE device, so a strike induced on that run is clamped before it reaches the camera, radio or access point. Liquid-tight cord grips seal around the cable at both ends.
Features
- Carries Ethernet up to 10GbE without signal degradation; Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6A
- Compatible with IEEE 802.3af at 15.4 W, 802.3at at 30 W, 802.3bt Type 3 at 60 W and Type 4 at 100 W
- 20 kA per pair surge current rating; 144 W power handling
- Clamping 7.22 V differential and 75 V common mode; service voltage under 60 VDC
- Shielded RJ45 female in and out, with an optional internal grounding screw
- UL 497B certified; ANSI/TIA-568 and RoHS

Where it is used
Install the DTK-MRJPOEX at the outdoor end of a PoE run, such as the cable feeding an externally mounted camera, radio or access point, so a strike induced on the cable is clamped before it reaches the device. The shielded RJ45 connections keep the shield continuous through the protector, and the liquid-tight cord grips seal the enclosure at both cable entries.
