Ansul 442253 is the SENTRY model PK05S, a 5 lb stored-pressure hand portable extinguisher charged with Purple-K dry chemical and UL/ULC rated 60-B:C. Purple-K is a potassium bicarbonate-based agent that Ansul describes as its most effective dry chemical for knocking down Class B fires. It has no Class A rating, so it is chosen for flammable liquid, gas and electrical risks rather than ordinary combustibles.
