Ansul 440930 — SENTRY High-Flow model HF-PK20, a 20 lb stored-pressure Purple-K dry chemical hand portable fire extinguisher.
High-Flow describes discharge rate, not a larger extinguisher. NFPA 10 Section 5.5.4 addresses pressurized flammable liquid and gas fires, three-dimensional or gravity fed, and calls for large dry chemical units discharging at 1 lb/sec or more. The HF-PK20 answers that with a 1.19 lb/sec (0.54 kg/sec) agent flow at 240 psi (16.6 bar). Purple-K is a potassium bicarbonate agent, the fastest ANSUL dry chemical for knocking down Class B fires and non-conductive for Class C conditions.
